Proper building paper and flashing install is crucial before and after you install windows. I go through all the steps and explain why certain things need to happen in a certain order. In summary your building paper is the drainage plain for water, and if not done properly you can only guess what the consequence is. Windows and doors are the areas most affected so that why care and detail must be taken at install stage so your home will last as long as possilbe. Keep in mind I used tar paper in this example but you can simply use tyvek in the same manner or any other approved building paper.
